ABOUT KAKINETICS

Kakinetics provides physical therapy and health and well-being coaching services to help implement lifestyle changes, to boost performance and to prevent, treat and reverse chronic health conditions. It is a cash-pay private practice working outside the traditional insurance-based healthcare system. Kakinetics offers services conveniently in-home as well as via telehealth (online or by phone).

Kakinetics uses evidence-based practices and strategies to implement actionable changes for improving performance, health and well-being; it emphasizes prevention and wellness using a holistic approach. Kakinetics strongly supports the evidence in lifestyle medicine and understands how lifestyle affects one’s health and performance. Increasing movement/mobility, incorporating plant-based nutrition and improving restorative sleep can have an immediate and profound impact on energy and performance.

ABOUT KAKI DONAHUE

Kaki has been a licensed physical therapist since 2007 with clinical experience in a variety of settings with patients of all ages. In 2009, Kaki was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (ulcerative colitis). After years of treatment, questioning and refusing to accept that the only option was a lifetime of symptoms, medications and side-effects, Kaki set off on a determined dive into researching how to decrease chronic inflammation. Her research lead her to plant-based nutrition, the science on the microbiome, sleep and circadian rhythms and how all of these things have such power to improve health and affect genetic response.

After years of researching and experimenting with  evidence-based lifestyle changes, Kaki’s health has been completely transformed. She is committed to and passionate about sharing the strategies that have such power in boosting performance and energy, enhancing quality of life and improving overall health.
